~a couple of hundred years ago~
~here in the united states~
~a fly was discovered~
~in the ointment of our government~
~the ointment is now composed~
~wholly of flies~
~no longer a balm & sanctuary~
~it is a living mass~
~feeding off itself & its host~
~suffering its lustful agony of greed~
~on the wounded breast of its mother~
